We have been ordering for delivery for more than year. The food is always hot with big portions, . .often we have two meals from our orders. Delivery is fast. The food is good. My husband especially likes the roast pork fried rice. I like the vegetable lo mein. We frequently order a combination plate. The eggrolls are the only thing I am not fond of. I prefer the Spring rolls. The little packets of sauce for the eggrolls or Spring rolls is a major complaint. It has no flavor, and is a waste of the little plastic package it comes in. The little packets of soy sauce are tasteless, too. We use our kikoman soy sauce from home, and my sauce for the Spring rolls. I especially like, too, the hot and sour soup, which may be too spicy for some. I would certainly recommend China Star II ***One delivery man always brings a treat for our schnoodles. I guess that is an indication of how frequently we order from here.
Been here a bunch of times. The food is always top notch for sure. You need to run to this place. I don't just give out shitty reviews. You need to get on this for sure.
We happened on this place Easter Sunday when going for our "get away ride" from Providence. They have Curry Chicken, which is a favorite, the portions are plentiful and the Sauce is amazing. We tend to ask for add on items and China Star was accommodating. The staff is friendly and fast with getting you food ready and waiting (pick up for us). One order was enough to share and have a bit to take home after. The steamed rice was moist and flaky, most people don't critique rice, but we are very picky and eat rice daily, so it matters! The Spring Rolls were perfect, although I don't share when it comes to Spring Rolls! The restaurant had plenty of seating and room to move around, that being said it looks like it could handle quite a few customers comfortably. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but boy can they cook.
These guys make the Best Beef and Broccoli in town and their fried dumplings are Beyond Delicious my wife and I think they're the best Chinese food on the island!!!
Great for take out. Food is good and plentiful. Prices are good. My go to place. Staff is pleasant. No fuss, no hassle. Always satisfied.
